International Women's Day - 100th Anniversary 8th March 2011 International Women's Day is a celebration of women and their achievements. Also, reflecting on the problems women face in the world today. This is the 100th Anniversary of International Women's Day. Primary Colours has produced a number of Teaching Packs for Primary Sch ools in our Did You Know Series which include women of great influence and importance. Benazir Bhutto: Former Prime Minister of Pakistan. Aung San Suu Kyi: Burmese peace activist, prisoner and Nobel Peace Prize winner. These women are and remain great role models for young girls in all walks of life. Boys will learn from these Teaching Packs and perhaps appreciate the role women play in their lives.
